Even if you have a lot of storage, there will come a moment when you’ll need to remove items to make room on your hard drive. Thankfully, Windows 11 offers a helpful option that deletes files for you automatically.
Storage Sense is the functionality in question. Storage Sense is a feature of Windows 10 that is also included in Windows 11. This tutorial will show you how to set up Storage Sense quickly so you never have to worry about running out of disc space. Temporary files, old downloads, and system files are all automatically deleted by this function. You may also set it to delete certain files so that nothing critical is lost in the process. How to automatically free up Drive space in Windows 11
1. Press the Windows key and type Storage Settings into the search box. Select Storage.

It will take a few seconds for your PC to examine your storage data if you’ve never used this setting before. At the top of the screen, you’ll see your total free RAM, as well as anything else you have in storage, such as temporary files, applications, features, and so on. 3. To use Storage Sense right now, click Run Storage Sense immediately. Just by doing this, I was able to free up 8GB of storage. It took less than ten seconds to complete the job. You don’t have to do this because Storage Sense’s entire purpose is to automatically erase files when you run out of space. However, if you want to start the procedure right away, it’s nice to have the choice.
