 Ultralife Corporation has released the XR123A — a new battery in the CR123A form factor for low to medium-rate applications that require a long service life. This compact and lightweight power source is ideal for use in smoke alarms, LED flashlights, digital cameras, and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors.
Ultralife Corporation has released the XR123A — a new battery in the CR123A form factor for low to medium-rate applications that require a long service life. This compact and lightweight power source is ideal for use in smoke alarms, LED flashlights, digital cameras, and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors.
The XR123A is a primary (non-rechargeable) cell with a voltage range from 1.5V to 3.3V. With a typical capacity of 2,000mAh, its run-time is around 30 percent greater than other CR123A batteries on the market. It also boasts a wide operating temperature range from -20 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius. Other specifications include an energy rating of 6.0Wh and a low weight of just 16 grams. Like Ultralife’s existing battery range, the XR123A is manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
