Lambda has expanded its popular NV family of configurable AC-DC power supplies, adding a product series that supplies 300W. The new NV-300 series is especially suitable for use in high-density medical, data communications, and test-and-measurement equipment.
Units measure a compact 3.75 x 7.25 x 1.34 in., making them compatible with 1U enclosures. They can provide up to four regulated outputs, with a 5- or 12-V standby output optional. Output voltages are currently available from 1.8 to 24V, with currents to 40 amps. No minimum load current is required on any output. Input voltage ranges from 90 to 265 Vac, 45-63 Hz with active power factor correction.
The new series meets EN55022 Level B conducted emissions standards with an earth leakage current of 257 microamps, assisted by a patent-pending noise-canceling transformer. Additionally, the supplies have IEC/UL/EN60601-1 medical approvals, as well as IEC/EN61010-1 and IEC/UL/EN60950-1 approvals, and carry the CE mark.
Lambda NV-300 series power supplies are available now, priced at $239 each in 100-unit quantities for a four-output configuration.
