The QUINT SFB industrial grade power supply has Selective Fuse Breaking (SFB) technology to give up to six times nominal current for 12 months. With a short burst of current, individual circuit breakers can react to overloads. Faulty current paths are shut down, and the power supply continues to give power to the other loads.
The supply also includes expanded diagnostics. When the it operates under nominal conditions, a “DC OK” LED indicates the status locally , and a dry contact gives remote indication. In Power Boost, an additional LED and transistor output indicate the unit is supplying more than nominal current.
