The CSW65 series of ac-dc power supplies are rated at 40 to 65 W of output power. Developed by TDK Corp., the accept a wide 90-to-305-Vac input and can operate from 115, 230 and 277-V nominal inputs. They are available in a U-channel construction and have cover and/or DIN rail mounting clip options. Target applications include security, audio, video, and building automation systems.

Available output voltages include 5, 12, 15, 18, 24, 28, 48 and 54 V, and the units have a no-load power consumption of less than 150 mW and comply with DOE Efficiency Level VI requirements. Average efficiency levels are greater than 89% (87.2% for the 5-V model). The CSW65 measures 63.5 x 120.7 x 38.1 mm (W x L x H) and 63.5 x 120.7 x 47.2 mm with the DIN rail clip installed.

The series will operate convection-cooled in ambient temperatures of -10 to +70°C, derating linearly to 50% load from 50°C to 70°C. All the power supplies are certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60950-1 with CE marking for the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 Directives. The CSW65 24V output model has also been evaluated for NEC Class 2 limits in accordance with UL 1310. The series is compliant to EN 55032-B (radiated and conducted) and meets EN 55024 immunity standards.
