Range of screwless terminal blocks available in multiple orientations and colors

CUI Devices’ Interconnect Group announced a new range of single-position terminal blocks with blue, green, red, white, and yellow color options that can be intermixed to create color-coded wire connections. The TBL-0014-750, TBL-0015-750, TBL-0016-1000 series are screwless terminal blocks featuring either a push-in spring or lever-actuated connection style for simplified wire termination, pitches of 7.50 mm or 10 mm, and 1 to 6 position options.

These screwless terminal block receptacles support wire gauges ranging from 24 to 8 AWG and operating temperature ranges from -40 to 105°C. Available in horizontal (TBL-0015-750 / TBL-0016-1000) or vertical (TBL-0014-750) orientations, the terminal block models carry UL current ratings of 40 or 51 A and IEC current ratings of 41 or 76 A as well as UL voltage ratings of 600 Vdc and IEC voltage ratings of 800 or 1000 Vdc.

The TBL-0014-750, TBL-0015-750, TBL-0016-1000 models are available immediately with prices starting at $0.90 per unit at 250 pieces through distribution.

Surface-mount low-current circuit breaker doubles as a thermal cutoff

Bourns, Inc. announced its smallest surface mount mini-breaker TCO device. The Bourns Model SW mini-breaker has a 4.7 mm x 2.8 mm footprint with a height of just 0.94 mm. Designed to control abnormal, excessive temperature virtually instantaneously, up to rated limits, the Model SW mini-breaker is an optimal overtemperature protection solution for a wide range of applications that include LED systems, wireless charging coils, motors, and a variety of printed circuit board components. This new model mini-breaker can also be used as an overtemperature sensor.

The new Model SW mini-breaker complements Bourns’ latest Model SD Series with features and functionality that meet lower current protection application requirements. It offers a trip temperature setting of 70 °C ±5 °C, with maximum resistance values of 5 mΩ. For wireless charging applications, this mini-breaker model can operate up to 100 V peak (AC 128 kHz). Manufactured using Bourns’ highest-rated corrosion-resistant bimetal mechanism, this mini-breaker model is also designed to withstand humid environments.

Bourns Model SW mini-breaker device is available now and is RoHS* compliant.

DIN rail terminal blocks now available in single and dual-level packages

CUI Devices’ Interconnect Group announced the expansion of its line of terminal blocks with the addition of new DIN rail terminal block models. The TBDR family offers push-in spring or end cap connector types with feed-through or ground-type styles. These DIN rail terminal blocks are available in single-level or dual-level packages with 2, 3, or 4-position options, making them ideal for a range of DIN rail mount applications.

Offering black or gray housing colors, the TBDR models accept wire gauges from 26 to 12 AWG or wire sizes of 1.5 or 2.5 mm². These DIN rail terminal blocks carry UL current ratings of 15 or 20 A and IEC current ratings from 16 to 24 A as well as UL voltage ratings of 300 or 600 Vdc and IEC voltage ratings of 500 or 800 Vdc. All models further support operating temperature ranges from -40 to 105°C.

The TBDR series is available immediately with prices starting at $0.90 per unit of 500 pieces through distribution.
